Coming Back to This Space

It’s been three years since I last wrote here.

Life plus a year I didn’t plan for, and didn’t always understand while I was living through it, a long season of healing that asked more of me than I had to give most days.

If you’ve followed me for a while, you know I don’t usually disappear without saying so. This time, I didn’t have it in me to explain while it was happening. So I went quiet instead.

Here’s what the quiet taught me: delay isn’t denial. A detour isn’t defeat. Hope just looks different when you’re standing still instead of running toward something.

I’m back now, slowly, intentionally, and I’m bringing something new with me.

It’s a podcast called A Moment in Time, born out of this very season.

Each week, I’ll share a short reflection, a story, a verse that held me when not much else did, and an invitation to notice what God is doing in the middle of real life, the ordinary, the delayed, the unexpected.

The first episode launches July 14, but the trailer is up now if you’d like a preview of what’s coming.

Thank you for still being here. For not unsubscribing when the silence stretched longer than either of us expected. I don’t take that lightly.

More soon. For now, I’m just glad to be back in this space with you.

What’s a season of waiting taught you? I’d love to hear it in the comments.
